Helping one person might not change the world, but it will change the world for that one person.

Supplemental Counseling

There are times of which the counseling process is delayed due to personal conflicts or clinician scheduling. The Virtual Counseling Center is sensitive to the delay that folks may experience while waiting to start counseling. That is why the VCC has incorporated a means to address various concerns while awaiting to meet with a counselor. This allows for a smooth transition and easier counselor preparation as the counseling sessions start. Below are some of the concerns of which assistance can be provided before the initial session:

Anxiety Fear Self-Esteem Phobias Unwanted Habits Leaving Remote Workspace Communication

Anger Driving Discomfort Lacking Confidence Difficulty with Casual Conversation Imposter Syndrome

Insomnia Nervousness Public Speaking Patience Stress Duress Burnout Return to Dating

“I underestimated how hard it would be adjusting to returning to the office location instead of working from home, but with VCC, I was able to quickly acclimate and regain focus.”
